How online marketing can help you increase your offline sales in 2014!
15. januar 2014
The start of a new year is the perfect time to review last year results and to set new goals. At iZettle, we want to help you grow your business in 2014! Here are five tips on how to increase your offline sales with the help of online marketing.
1. Make it easy for people to find you
If you own – say, a juice bar – make sure to take advantage of the fact that Google lets you create a free business page, even if you don’t have a website. Easy. Now, your business can be found on Google Search, Maps, Google+ and on mobile devices. You can even upload pictures and videos to promote your upcoming offers or events and get customer reviews.
2. Create buzz around an event
If you’re running a business that’s always on the go, such as a pop-up shop or a food truck, make sure that people know where you are - and want to go there. For example, use Facebook to create an event, and then promote it. Use tailored promotion to increase the chances of success. You can target different people depending on their interests, age, location, and more. Smart!
3. Show off your skills and educate your customers
Visual social networks such as Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube allow you to show your potential customers what you’re good at and to create DIY videos or tutorials. For example, the iZettling yoga instructor Yoga North has an entire YouTube channel with yoga tutorials.
4. Partner up with influencers
Try to find authority bloggers or social media users that your potential customers follow, and find a way to make them mention your business. How? Create content for them, offer samples of your products or simply just ask them.
5. Inform your customers about new arrivals or offers
Use social media outreach or even newsletters to inform your followers and customers about new products, special offers, or sales.
That’s all for now! We hope that you’ve found these tips useful and that they’ll help you generate more sales this year.
