Watch this training to learn the basics of selling online with iZettle E-commerce. It only takes 15 minutes! Let us show you how to navigate the new E-commerce dashboard and take your first steps. 

Sync your inventory

Now it's time to add your existing inventory to your online shop. If you are already selling using the iZettle POS to sell in-store, your existing products will automatically sync from your iZettle account so that you can sell them online. Go to your iZettle E-commerce dashboard and click here for detailed steps. If you need to add products to your shop, it’s simple! Click here for the steps.

Organize your products

Sort your synced products with categories and subcategories to make it easier for your customers to navigate your online store. It is important to note that current folders and organization used in-store will not be synced to your iZettle E-commerce store. Just head to your E-commerce dashboard and click ‘product categories’ to get started.

Store setup and customisation

  • Add some content to your online shop like videos, text, images using content blocks in the iZettle store builder.
  • Add a banner image or video carousel.
  • Add your logo to the top navigation on your site and customise your store colors, pages, and buttons.


Head to your E-commerce dashboard and take a look at the settings tab to make adjustments to things like abandoned cart emails, shipping, and taxes.

Enable PayPal

You already have the ability to process online credit card sales but we now offer PayPal as an extra option for your customers. Connect your PayPal account by going to your iZettle E-commerce dashboard and clicking on Settings > Checkout. Read more about PayPal here

Check out the app store

It's time to think about automating parts of your business to make it even easier for you to handle things like shipping labels, newsletters, and so much more. Go to the app store in your iZettle E-commerce dashboard by clicking on Apps > App Store.

Connect a domain

Manage your subdomain, add an existing domain or buy a brand new domain by going to your iZettle E-commerce dashboard and clicking on Store > Settings > Domain. Your domain by default is youstorename.selz.com. You can leave it as is, or you can purchase a new domain and you will be directed to google domains so that you can complete the checkout process. If you are outside the list of countries that google services, iwantmyname.com will appear as an option. You can also point your store to an already existing domain with these instructions.

Promote your new store

Start sharing on social media. While in your E-commerce dashboard, head over to the product management page by clicking on ‘products.’ Edit a product and click the ‘share’ option to quickly create a post on one of your connected social accounts like Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. This is also where you would grab your URL for your new product if you want to link directly to it on social media.
