iZettle Reader / iZettle Reader 2
The iZettle Readers have been developed for compatibility with all smartphones and tablets that have Bluetooth and an internet connection.
- The iZettle Reader 2:
requires you to run iOS 10 and higher or Android 4.4 and higher (for optimal performance on Android devices we recommend running Android 7 and higher).
- The iZettle Reader:
requires you to run Apple iOS 10 and higher or Android 4.4 and higher.
What if my smartphone or tablet is not compatible?
In the exceptional case that you purchase an iZettle Card Reader which is not compatible with your iOS or Android device, we will return the amount paid for up to 30 days after your purchase. In order to receive a refund, you must follow our return and refund process, which you can find here.
Legacy card readers
iZettle Pro Contactless, iZettle Pro and iZettle Lite readers should work with most smartphones and tablets that have Bluetooth and an internet connection, running operating systems Apple iOS 10 and higher, as well as Android 4.4 and higher.
For the best user experience, compatibility and features such as contactless payments and tipping functionality, we recommend using one of our latest readers.
