Updating account details

As an e-money institution, we need to know who our users are. Because of this it’s important that you keep the information of your iZettle account up to date. If any information has changed since you first registered your account, you need to update it.

Note: you can update basic receipt details like your phone number, website, opening times etc. any time by logging in to my.izettle.com. Read more here.

Below you will find how to proceed depending on what details you need to update.

How do I update my iZettle account details?

The below details are also visible in your account at my.iZettle.com (click on your name in the top menu and select ”Settings” >  “Receipt information”).
  • Company name (i.e. the name you’re trading under)
  • Company address (i.e. the address where your business is located)
  • Owner details (this information cannot be changed on sole trader accounts)
To update the above business details, please email us the following documents:

For Limited companies

  • Your official registration document from Companies House (Certificate of Incorporation).
  • To update owner details please provide an ID (passport/driving licence) and proof of address (bank statement/utility bill no older than 3 months) in addition to the registration document.
The above documents need to be sent to help.uk@izettle.com from the email address you have used to create your iZettle account or simply use the contact form below.

For sole traders

  • A copy of your passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill.
Please be advised:
The utility bill must contain along with your name the following details:
  • New Legal name
  • New Legal address

If you have a private iZettle account

The option to register for individual iZettle accounts was removed in 2017. To edit your existing individual iZettle account details follow the instruction for sole traders above.
