Printer in App Setup

Before linking the printer to the app, ensure you’ve turned it on correctly and have connected it. If you visit ‘Settings’ and then ‘Printers’ on the iZettle Pro app, and then press ‘Search For Printers’ you should see ‘TSP654’ appear.

To set up the printer within the app, login and enter your manager PIN number as shown below:

Once you’re logged in, tap the cog in the top left-hand corner to go to the app ‘Settings’, as shown in the image below:

Now tap ‘Printers’ on the left hand side. This will display the a screen that displays your connected printers. If they’re not showing, tap the option ‘Search For Printers’.

Once the application has located your printer, tap the icon that matches the model of the one you’d like to use. You’ll be presented with this screen.

You can rename the printer if you find it easier to identify that way and enable the options for ‘Standard Receipts’ and ‘Cash Drawer’. To test if everything is working correctly, press ‘Test Print’ and ‘Test Cash Drawer’ to ensure everything is online.

If you can’t locate the printer you want to use, however, you will see the following error message:

Go to the ‘Configuration’ menu option and select ‘Networking’. Ensure you’re connected to the default network and press ‘Set Current WiFi Network As Default’ to ensure the app has your current WiFi saved.

Finally, double check the default network is the same as the printers are connected to. If not, you’ll have to change the network the iPad is connected to so it matches. Go to the native iPad settings and alter it there. Once everything matches, you should be online.

To set up a ‘Kitchen Printer’, ensure it is the correct printer without the ‘Standard Receipts’ as an option. Enable ‘Kitchen Receipts’ and tap ‘Test Print’ to ensure everything is working as it should.

If required, you can also change the amount of copies the printer provides. Press the ‘+’ or '-' icons to the right of the relevant receipt. And to disable printing standard receipts, just toggle the ‘Print Sales Receipt By Default option’.
