iZettle Pro provides a wide variety of reports to help you attain an in-depth understanding of your business and your sales data. The following lists some of the reports available, so you can better understand the tools at your disposal. These reports are all available in the Backoffice web portal.
Sales by Hour:
This report helps provide a breakdown of the amount taken per hour on any day since trading began with iZettle Pro. This is especially useful when deciding when to operate, or how many members of staff to include in your planning.
Sales by Terminal:
This report gives you a summary of the amount you’ve taken during a specified date range, split between the terminals in your business. This helps you identify the busiest parts of your business and decide whether you need more terminals.
This report provides a detailed list of every transaction that has been put through the till system, including any abandoned orders, deletions and no sales. Spotting patterns here means you can configure the button settings of your till more effectively, for example.
This report provides details on the number of transactions that you have taken throughout the day. For example, if you’re experiencing large numbers of transactions but not large sales, you can educate your staff on the value of upselling each order. Average transactions provide a breakdown of the average value of each transaction for all days of trade. If you find you have a business day with low average values, perhaps you can provide an offer on that day alone to help boost this value?
Provides a detailed list of all the waste-related incidents, down to the reason waste was created, terminal it was actioned on and User ID. This helps you maximise your efficiency and costs.
Sales by Category:
Shows the amount of takings for each of your categories during a specified date range. Here you can identify trends in your sales and continually maximise profits accordingly.
Sales by Department:
This report shows the total amount of takings for an entire department during a specified date range. If you own a larger business, this helps you get a broad overview of how different parts of it are performing in relation to one another.
Sales by User:
A report that provides information on the individual takings of each of your members of staff, during a specified date range. This provides you with information to help praise members of your team or address performance issues if required.
Cash Card Split:
This report provides an overview of the total amount taken with each cash and card, on a specified date range. Information like this helps you tailor your business towards the types of customer you attract.
Cash Card Split By Day:
This report shows details of the cash and card split for each of your terminals, on each day for that month. This is especially helpful if you see a trend towards one terminal; for example, a lot of card transactions, meaning you should perhaps order another card reader to help with demand.
Provides you with a list of your best-selling products over a set time period, how many you sold and what financial value each had. Information like this helps with all parts of your business, from stock placement, offer provision and more.
A report that calculates the amount of tax from sales within a specific date range. This provides you with a useful financial overview, helping you plan for the future.
Shows the amount of cash taken out of the till together, with the reason for this.
Configuring an email report
Using Backoffice, you can set a time that you’d like to receive an email report with a breakdown of the day’s trading, helping you stay on top of the financials in real time. The report includes information such as total sales and the top-selling products.
- In Backoffice, select My Profile > Settings from the left-hand menu.
- In Nightly Email, choose the time you’d like to receive the report using the drop-down menu.
