We asked you how we could support you during this time. Here’s what we’ve done.

Working to support you

iZettle’s purpose is to help people get access to the tools they need to start and run their own business. That was true ten years ago when we began, and remains true today. And we have been blown away by how our community has responded to the unique issue we’re now facing.

Across hospitality, retail and beyond, we’ve seen you adapt quickly and innovatively to an unprecedented challenge, finding new ways to run and grow, in order to support your communities. We are in awe, and want you to know we are working tirelessly to support you.

What we’re doing:

We received an overwhelming response to the survey we sent out asking how we could help you navigate the changes you’re facing. In line with your feedback, we‘re lightening the load by temporarily suspending iZettle Pro for Hospitality subscription fees1, as well as reducing fees on our online payment features. We’ve also opened up our regular support line after hours for urgent matters. This line will be open until midnight on weekdays and calls will be routed to our English speaking support team.

Payment options that could help your business now

Consumer behaviours are changing. As well as creating new ways to help you navigate this situation, we also have some existing options that could be helpful. Find out more about our alternative online payments methods below, which can help you to get paid remotely.


Payment Links - Generate a one-time link via the iZettle Go app that you can send to your customer by text message, Whatsapp, social media or email. Discover more here.

Invoicing - Create and send an online invoice directly in the iZettle Go app and we’ll do the rest. You can find more information here.

Gift cards - If your customers are looking for ways to support you, gift cards are a great way to do so. Create, sell and redeem your gift cards, right in your iZettle Go app. Find out more here.

Contactless payments - The iZettle Reader 2 is contactless – simply hold the card within 2 inches of the reader’s display to take a payment. As always, you can take payments from all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express, as well as payments through Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
